General Testing Information

There are four exams that are used to enter different career plans​

ASVAB ​(Sign up with Counseling or Recruiting Office)​

Used as entry exam for any military branch​

Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment Entrance Exam Online
-
The TSI test, is a program which determines the appropriate level of college course work for an incoming student. The TSI test consists of three separate exams: Mathematics, Reading, and Writing.

You do not have to take the TSI Assessment if you: Graduated college with an associate or bachelor's degree; or. Have earned a C or higher in a college-level course at an accredited institution. ... You have completed the SAT, ACT, or other approved assessment exam with the minimum score needed for TSI exemption.

​Scored a 23 or higher on the ACT composite and a minimum of 19 on both the English and math tests;

SAT scored Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) minimum score of 480, Mathematics minimum score of 530 (no combined score needed)
