• Step 1: Build a list of Potential Colleges

  • Create a college list on your College Board Planning

• Step 2: Apply

  • We encourage a minimum of 3+ Applications, to provide students a widespread of options (financially, and educationally)

• Step 3: Send in your Fee Waiver 

  • Fee Waivers are available on College Board and can be requested by your adviser

    • Click here to see list of colleges that accept waivers  

    • If college is missing ask before paying the fee

• Step 4: Request Transcripts & TSI scores 

  • Transcripts & TSI Scores can be requested by filling out the Google form

• Step 5: Send SAT Scores

  • Scores must be sent to the institution through your College Board Account
    
    
     

• Applications for all Texas Institutions can be found on ApplyTexas.org

  •  University of Texas at Austin & Texas A&M University Main Campus open applications in July and have earlier deadlines in November/December
    
    
    
    
    
     

• Applications for Non-Texas Institutions out- of-state or out-of-Country can be found on common app, begin process as early as July

  •  Full-Ride Scholarship/Application program provides some of the most prestigious colleges in the nation

    • Application opens during the summer and is due by late September
